Furia are one of Poland's most important and enigmatic black metal bands. Focussing on melancholy as much as aggression, the often folk-orientated melodies and use of acoustic instruments recalling Norwegian groups such as Taake while nevertheless having their own unique character. Their gradual evolution has seen a definite shift toward ever more experimental and introspective territories, drawing comparisons to progressive acts such as Deathspell Omega, as well as bands from the post-black metal scene.
Nocel was originally released in 2014 and is the band's fourth album.
